Pertamina Shipping signed 15 newbuild Tankers

Indonesian’s state owned oil company PT Pertamina’s shipping arm, PT Pertamina International Shipping has signed a contract with South Korean Hyundai Mipo Dockyard to build 15 Medium Range (MR) Tankers.

Yoki Firnandi, the CEO said that this is an effort for further business development and capturing new opportunities, and that similar vessels deployed in Singapore have been successfully marketed to international 3rd party for charter hire.
