STEINHAUSEN, Switzerland, Oct. 17, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Transocean Ltd. (NYSE: RIG (“Transocean”) has announced a one-year contract for the Ultra-Deepwater Drillship Deepwater Conqueror with an undisclosed operator in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.

The contract is expected to commence in October 2025 and contribute approximately $193 million in backlog, including additional services.
The Rig is of DSME 12000 design and is capable of operating up to 12,000ft Water Depth and a maxium of 40,000ft Drilling Depth.
