EXPLORATORY DRILLING IN SERGIPE-ALAGOAS BASIN BEGINS
Enauta announced that drilling of the first exploratory well in Block SEAL-M-428, 1-EMEB-3-SES, (Cutthroat prospect) has already begun.
Seadrill’s West Saturn drill has been executing the operation, with a 3,093-meter water depth. Well drilling operations are estimated to range between two and four months.
Enauta holds 30% working interest in nine blocks at the SergipeAlagoas Basin. Enauta will be partially carried by partners ExxonMobil and Murphy Oil in the 1-EMEB-3-SES well related costs, according to respective farmout agreements.
