Roles & Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Operational/ Asset objectives from the planning, scheduling and progress reporting standpoint and serve as focal point in the preparation, maintenance, progressing and reporting of the Asset Integrated Schedules covering 14D, 90D and 18M operational/ maintenance plan.
  • Serve as focal point in the identification and creation of service purchase requests within IFS and liaise with Procurement and Logistics (both local and head office) in the scheduling, procurement and delivery of spares, materials and equipment. Schedule and monitor progress of the procurement and logistics cycle, including RFQ, CBE/ TBE, PO, manufacturing, ex-works, transit and delivery onshore & offshore to ensure availability as per the required-on-site dates.
  • Continuous improvement of maintenance strategy in co-operation with TMM & AM in order to achieve a safe & efficient operation.
  • Support the OIM in the management and levelling of offshore personnel (core crew and visitors) within the allowable POB for the Asset.
    Maintain and update the Manpower Planning tool in order to continuously optimize POB.
  • Support the TMM in the preparation of maintenance schedules for campaigns and projects such as planned maintenance shutdown, diving inspections etc. and communication of these schedules to all parties.
  • Direct and coordinate all relevant local requisitions for spares, consumables and services for repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure that maintenance contractors are adequately trained, equipped and certified so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
  • Identify Maintenance backlog (overdue work orders from CMMS / IFS). In consultation with TMM and offshore management, evaluate and finalize scope.
  • Develop or manage development of required work packs for the planned Maintenance tasks where needed.
  • Liaise with Procurement, Human Resources, Project Management, HSE, Financial and internally within operations as required.
  • Support TMM in Client related meetings and reporting/ preparations thereof.
  • Active participation for JSAs, FSAs and RCAs as required and manage required reports and maintain historical documentation.
  • This position shall support the activities of Technical and Maintenance Manager (TMM) particularly during extraordinary modifications/ activities and during the period when the TMM is on leave.
  • Visit the Unit on a regular basis as required. It is expected that the Operations Engineer visits the unit once in a month for monitoring the performance and planning of maintenance activities.
