Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

Administer and develop conversion project schedule and cost control for assigned projects
Authorize purchase of equipment, spares and materials needed for conversion projects
Chair the daily Vessel Safety Co-ordination Committee (VSCC) meeting and approve / permits for all work covered by the Permit-to-Work System for his projects
Perform effective project management and planning whilst ensuring the delivery of quality work
Interface with supporting functions in the yard and ensure all materials supplied by yard and yard engineering deliverables are issued according to plan to facilitate project execution
Provide accountability to projects by ensuring deliveries which are within budget, on schedule, incident-free and of quality standards up to the expectations and satisfaction of clients
Any other assigned duties and responsibilities


Job Requirement

Degree in Naval Architecture / Civil / Marine and Offshore / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Certificate of Competency (Marine Engineer Officer) Class 1 (Motorship), or its equivalent
At least 6 years of relevant working experience
Possess positive and willing to learn attitude
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment
