Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) won orders for LNG carriers despite difficult internal and external environments, and achieved more than 70% of this year's order target.

The LNG carrier ordered this time is a large 174,000 m3 class LNG carrier, equipped with a low-pressure dual fuel propulsion engine (ME-GA) that Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering is proud of and a more advanced re-liquefaction facility. In addition, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering's smart energy saving systems, such as the SGM / Shaft Generator Motor and ALS / Air Lubrication System, are representative eco-friendly new technologies that can improve fuel efficiency and reduce carbon dioxide and sulfur oxide emissions. To date, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering has secured jobs worth about $6.43 billion for a total of 28 ships/equipment including 20 LNG carriers, six container ships, one offshore plant, and one depot maintenance, which is about 72.2% of the target of $8.9 billion. achieved end.
