On July 15 2022, China's first 174,000 cubic meters floating liquefied natural gas storage and regasification unit (LNG-FSRU) independently developed, designed and built by Hudong-Zhonghua Shipyard was signed and delivered. This LNG FSRU named "Transgas Power" has officially entered the genealogy of China's entire LNG industry chain. Teng Fei, assistant general manager of CSSC Leasing, and Chi Benbin, deputy general manager of the company, jointly signed the delivery document. Zuo Dequan, deputy chief builder of the company's LNG ship, Shen Ning, marketing director, and guests from CSSC Leasing, Zhouqiao Energy, DYNAGAS on-site construction team, and ABS Classification Society attended the signing ceremony.

"Transgas Force" is the first ship of two series of ships tailor-made by the company for the Greek DYNAGAS company. American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). With the design concept of "green, environmental protection, low carbon and safety" and the most complete and optimal equipment configuration, the company endows it with many highlights such as good reliability, versatility, forward-looking and economical efficiency, and its comprehensive performance has reached the international advanced level.

LNG-FSRU is a high-tech, high-value-added product. It is a special equipment integrating multiple functions such as LNG receiving, storage, transshipment, gasification, and export. It is called a large-scale mobile LNG shore station at sea. Its successful R&D and construction have achieved synchronization with the latest equipment in the international market. This ship type integrates all the functions of a traditional LNG carrier and a traditional land-based receiving station, and also has the functions of LNG transportation, reception, storage and regasification.

As an LNG ship, its hull shape incorporates the most advanced multi-objective optimization design concept, with a design speed of 19.5 knots, which is comparable to the current mainstream LNG carrier, and its ship size fully considers the compatibility of more than 100 major LNG shore stations around the world Sexuality, global reach.

The FSRU designed by the company is forward-looking, and the dual-fuel electric propulsion system is used to greatly improve the comfort of the crew and make the EEDI reach the third stage ahead of schedule. The configured dual-fuel generator and dual-fuel regasification boiler operate in gas mode and can meet the current most stringent IMO Tier III emission requirements. It is a typical environment-friendly ship with very strong market adaptability and Good market prospects.
