Petrobras 69 (P 69) FPSO is located nearly 290km offshore Rio de Janeiro, in water depth up tp 2,150m. It has a daily processing capacity of up to 150,000 barrels of oil and a compressing capacity of up to six million cubic meters of natural gas.

Formerly known as Tupi oil field, the Lula field was discovered by Petrobras in October 2006 and is the largest producing field in Brazil. First oil was achieved in October 2010 from Lula Pilot using MODEC, Inc. FPSO Cidade de Angra dos Reis MV29.

The company has recently received tender bids for future Buzios FPSO, namely the Petrobras 78 with Keppel Offshore & Marine consortium as the lowest bidder rumored to be around USD 2.33 Billion. This FPSO project would be one of the major projects sanctioned in 2021 onwards
