Keppel Shipyard is on track to delivering FPSO Lewek Arunothai to EOC Limited (EOC) for a South East Asian client

The 725,000 bbls storage FPSO was named at a ceremony on June 21. FPSO Lewek Arunothai is the first FPSO that Keppel Shipyard has converted for EOC.

The first part of the vessel’s refurbishment and life extension was carried out at Subic Shipyard in the , while the engineering, procurement and topside fabrication were in progress in . The vessel then sailed to Keppel Shipyard to complete the remaining conversion and integration of topside works.

The vessel can export 175 million standard cubic feet of natural gas per day.

Keppel Shipyard has completed 76 FPSO and FSO projects with 6 more in progress. Its sister yard, Keppel Singmarine is building a 30,000 bhp Multi-Functional Support Vessel for Ezra Holdings.

Ezra Holding’s owned EOC Limited (EOC), has secured its first contract with Hess E&P Malaysia for the charter of the Group’s Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel, the Lewek Arunothai.

The Letter of Award will deploy the FPSO Lewek Arunothai, on a three-year fast-track gas production project in the North Malay Basin, Malaysia. The FPSO will be used to support early production activities and is targeted to be on station from mid-2013.

The value of the three years long contract is estimated at $272.1 million with the potential of another US$271.1 million should the full extension of three years be exercised.

FPSO PERISAI KAMELIA FINAL OFFTAKE

FPSO Perisai Kamelia Final Offtake 31st May 2017

Emas Offshore Construction and Production is set to demobilize the Perisai Kamelia FPSO from its location offshore Malaysia.

The FPSO has been deployed at the Hess-operated Kamelia field, offshore Terengganu Malaysia.

The FPSO is owned by Emas Victoria, a joint venture between Perisai Petroleum and Emas Offshore.

Under the agreement, EOCP will provide project management, engineering and project support services for the demobilization of the FPSO Perisai Kamelia from the North Malay Basin, up to the point of layup to the FPSO at a designated layup location. The contract value is estimated at $545,319.

For its final offtake, Satumarin Sdn Bhd Pilots was in charge of undertaking the offtake operation.

Through proper planning the loading operation achieved safe and smooth process with average loading rate of 634 m3/h.
